Profile wrapping machine with EVA and PUR adhesive

The machine is designed for the continuous wrapping of profiles with decorative materials such as PVC, PP, PET, natural veneer and paper. It can work with either EVA hot-melt adhesive or PUR reactive polyurethane adhesive, offering flexibility depending on the material applied, the finishing requirements and the operating conditions of the finished product.

The application system uses a high-precision, slot-type adhesive head, which ensures uniform and controlled distribution of the adhesive across the entire working width. The applied amount can be adjusted to obtain a constant film, reduce consumption and maintain uniform adhesion on profiles with different shapes and sections.

The machine is suitable for the production of decorative profiles, furniture components, doors, windows and interior fit-outs. The working speed can reach up to 30 m/min, ensuring high productivity in industrial operation.

Bonding with EVA

EVA adhesive is suitable for common wrapping applications where:

• quick heating and start of the process;
• good initial adhesion;
• high productivity;
• simple operation;
• optimized processing costs.

The EVA system is recommended for interior applications and for products that are not constantly exposed to high humidity, extreme temperatures or chemical agents.

Bonding with PUR

For applications requiring superior strength, the machine can use PUR reactive polyurethane adhesive.

PUR adhesive contains no water or solvents and has a solids content of 100%. It provides high initial adhesion and fast setting, and after complete reaction forms a joint with increased resistance to:

• water and humidity;
• high or low temperatures;
• slow deformation under load;
• solvents and other chemical agents;
• temperature variations and difficult operating conditions.

The application temperature of PUR adhesive is approximately 120°C, lower than the temperature typically used for conventional hot-melt adhesives, approximately 150–180°C. As a result, the thermal stress on the foil and the profile is reduced.

Advantages of the EVA + PUR configuration

The possibility of working with both types of adhesive allows the machine to be adapted to several product categories:

• EVA for standard applications, fast production and optimized costs;
• PUR for premium products or applications that require high resistance to humidity, temperature and operational stresses.

By combining precise adhesive application, compatibility with multiple decorative materials and the choice between EVA and PUR, the machine offers a flexible solution for the industrial production of laminated profiles.

Rubberized motorized rollers

• It ensures constant advance of the processed parts, with increased grip thanks to the rubberized rollers.
• The feed rate is adjustable and ranges between 0 – 30 m/min.
• The working width of the rollers can be adjusted independently, up to 450 mm.

PUR adhesive

• Bonding is done with PUR,
• High adhesion and superior water resistance.
• The application temperature of PUR adhesive is approximately 120°C.

EVA granule adhesive

• Bonding is done with EVA adhesive.
• The dosage of the adhesive can be adjusted, depending on the need and application.
• Adhesive collection container for reuse.

Material preheating lamp

• Preheating the material prepares the ground for perfect bonding.
• The temperature difference between the material and the adhesive is considerably reduced, eliminating the risk of imperfect bonding.

Quick-change templates (optional)

• The system allows efficient switching between different models and profile types, significantly reducing production downtime.
• By using preset templates, machine configuration is done quickly and accurately, without complicated adjustments or laborious interventions.
• Each element is equipped with 4 cylinders on which rollers can be attached in various configurations, adapted to the specifics of the processed profile. This flexibility allows rapid adjustment to different production requirements, without compromising on stability or finish quality.
• Disassembly and assembly of components is performed simply and safely, with high precision, ensuring repeatability and uniformity in the process. The result is an optimized workflow, with fast changeovers between batches and increased productivity in industrial applications.

Foil unwinding shaft

• Roll unwinding shaft equipped with conical centering system for fixing and uniformly unwinding the decorative foil. Ensures axial stability and constant feeding during the wrapping process.

Touch screen control panel

• The adjustment of all motorized and electrical elements is carried out via the touch screen control panel.
