Description 4-axis 5-sided machining machine Winter Timbermax 5-23U
The Unimax 23 series was designed to enable the machining of larger workpieces, as follows:
- maximum working width of 230 mm;
- useful working height of up to 160 mm;
- variable feed speed, between 5 and 30 m/min;
- set for processing small parts, with a minimum length of 180 mm – included;
- electronic control of the working thickness (electronic adjustment, with digital display, of the vertical stroke of the upper axis and the feed rollers).
Robust structure, embodied in the weight of up to 6400 kg, places these 4-sided processing machines in the category of industrial machines. The diameters of the axes are 40 mm, standard. It is delivered with 4 planing shafts with straight knives, with a diameter of 125 mm, brand Busse-Germania. The machine allows the creation of an increased variety of profiles. A significant advantage is the constructive simplicity (without unnecessary electronic components), as well as ease of operation, respecting the maximum protection of the operator, according to the CE Standards in force. The feed rollers are both metallic and rubberized, and their pressing force is pneumatically adjusted. To ensure impeccable feed, metallic feed rollers were mounted in the work table.
At the same time, in order to be able to process materials of various essences, the surface of the work tables is fully chrome-plated. The electrical and electronic components are supplied exclusively by Telemcanique and ABB. The bearings used are of high quality, SKF brand. The transmission of the feed system is cardan.

Why do I recommend DaniBrum? In 2020, I purchased a circular saw with a mobile table and inches, the Lohmayer FKS320IQ brand, and a Holzmann KAM 215EPS abs edge banding machine. Both machines are industrial and I use them every day, cutting around 25-30 chipboards and edging them as well. Some time ago, I decided to increase my working capacity and buy 2 new machines from the company, 1 Circular saw with a mobile table and T45 parallel ruler, and 1 Automatic abs edge banding machine with pre-milling and rounding at the ends, KAM215ALL.
