The faceplate allows for easy adjustment of the depth of cut (chip depth), giving you control over the balance between speed and accuracy. The finer the setting, the more precise your work will be—but at a slight reduction in speed. Finding the right balance is essential, and for most operations we recommend a maximum depth of cut of 4 mm. This flexibility allows you to tailor the machine to the specific needs of your project, ensuring optimal performance every time.

Quick and easy transition from straightening to planing to thickness

Switching from planing to thicknessing is extremely simple. With a quick movement, the planing tables fold out easily, opening like butterfly wings. Once raised, the tables are automatically locked, allowing you to quickly continue with the thicknessing operation, minimizing downtime.
