DANIBRUM recommends the technology of workshops and factories

We are grateful for a good year (interview with Mihai Vatavu, General Manager DANIBRUM)

MOBILA Magazine: What is the current situation of the company you represent?

Mihai Vatavu, General Manager DANIBRUM: "We saw this situation as an opportunity to stand out. With a compact team and relationships built on trust and respect, we all acted as one. This made it easier for us to reach new customers and, at the same time, strengthen our position on the market. We acted quickly to resolve warranty cases."

MOBILA Magazine: How are you coping with the pandemic?

Mihai Vatavu, General Manager DANIBRUM: "It is a special situation, and we have taken special measures to protect our colleagues without limiting contact with our customers. We focus on finding solutions, and that has helped us during this period."

MOBILA Magazine: How do you see the future, and what measures have you taken to get through this period successfully?

Mihai Vatavu, General Manager DANIBRUM: "The future is what you make of it. We divided the service teams so as to limit direct interaction between everyone as much as possible. We followed the authorities' recommendations, and so far, although there were some cases of illness, they could be isolated and everything went well."

MOBILA Magazine: What measures have you taken to cover the losses caused by the lockdown?

Mihai Vatavu, General Manager DANIBRUM: "I could not say there were losses. For many years we have been recommending the technological upgrading of workshops and factories, and now, with this situation, customers have understood the advantages of technology more easily, thereby optimizing production and reducing costs."

MOBILA Magazine: Do you plan new investments, reorganization or technological upgrades?

Mihai Vatavu, General Manager DANIBRUM: "We always consider investments, and if not direct ones, investing in staff is the best investment. Requests can be resolved quickly only by trained staff. And we are ready!"

MOBILA Magazine: Are you open to new partnerships?

Mihai Vatavu, General Manager DANIBRUM: "We have established partners we have worked with for over 20 years, but any technical solution is taken into consideration."

MOBILA Magazine: How do you expect to close out 2020?

Mihai Vatavu, General Manager DANIBRUM: "We must be grateful, because for us it was more than a satisfactory year. We gained a strong team, developed processes and connected with our partners on a more authentic level."

MOBILA Magazine: Where and how do you promote your products, and how have you adapted your sales given that trade fairs remain closed?

Mihai Vatavu, General Manager DANIBRUM: "Mobila Magazine and APMR have been a support during this period. We have been present in all the major industry publications."

MOBILA Magazine: What are your plans for 2021?

Mihai Vatavu, General Manager DANIBRUM: "We continuously strive to be as prompt as possible and as close as possible to our customers' needs, which has naturally led to the expansion of our team. The varied and constantly growing requests have led us to seek the right solutions, adapted to the current period. Although 2020 was harder for some, for us it meant growth and team development. In 2021 we will place even more emphasis on automated solutions, both for small workshops and for factories, where the need is even greater."
