What do an 18-year-old and a CNC router have in common?
Speed and effortless adaptation to new things. These 2 things can characterize both an 18-year-old and a CNC router.
We are happy when a workshop has a story behind it, and if the story also involves family collaboration towards its development, that's already perfect for us.
In Gorj County, we find Mr. Condel and his son Ionuț Condel in a workshop where keeping tools in order matters and, above all, is passed on to younger generations. Although he is only 18 and has one more year until his Baccalaureate exam, the younger Condel shares his father's passion for wood and wants to take it to the next level.
Besides woodworking, Mr. Condel Sr. is passionate about hunting. Combining his two passions, he hand-carves trophy plaques. Quality work shows, and demand for this type of plaque has grown. Naturally, the two looked for a solution to increase productivity and reduce physical labor. As Ionuț's mentor and the one teaching him the trade, it was only natural that Ionuț developed a passion for woodworking, one he sought to develop in step with the latest industry innovations. That is how a CNC router ended up on the two men's wish list.

After searching, making phone calls and receiving price offers that were nowhere near what they needed, they came to Danibrum, where they were welcomed by Mihai Vatavu. True to our motto, "We always find a solution," he reached common ground with Mr. Condel and delivered the 1325 ECO Plus CNC router in June 2021.

Having no previous experience working with a CNC router, Ionuț learned everything from 0 alongside our technician: the software, drawing and design, as well as the hardware side, operating the router. His eagerness to learn helped him master the programs and capabilities of the machine in a short time, and today he uses it for milling as well as for cutting, carving and sanding operations. He prefers to delegate these tasks to the CNC, as they spare him the physical labor, and the finishes are very good.
We are always delighted to hear about young people who want to learn and carry on the passion for woodworking, and we are glad to offer them our support.
