Circular saw with movable table 680|100 developed PANHANS It is used for precise and reliable cutting, slicing to length, sizing and angle cutting of wood, plastic and similar materials in the carpentry or workshop.
Only high-quality components are used in the construction of this robust and solid machine, produced in Sigmaringen in southwest Germany. The machine has a dimensionally stable and self-supporting body, a torsion-resistant fixed table made of gray cast iron with a finely planed surface, and double-guided tilting segments made of gray cast iron. The machine therefore has everything needed for precise and reliable continuous operation.
The 680|100 has already proven its worth in countless operations, including the intensive processing of large-format panels.
Mobile table
A smooth-running, maintenance-free double sliding table (mounted on ball bearings – extra stable), with precise and play-free operation over the entire length, guarantees optimal support and workpiece feeding from the front. This can be extended for large panels using a cross extension mounted on the lightweight but stable sliding table, on which the cross ruler and angle guide, including the fixed angle ruler, can also be mounted.
Cutting unit
On the right side of the circular saw blade is a solidly constructed, manually adjustable cutting guide with fine precision, with clamping device and a stop profile that can be folded for narrow and flat workpieces.
The robust and powerful cutting unit, together with the saw spindle with double ball bearings, guarantees high-precision cuts. The circular saw blade can be tilted up to 46° at the touch of a button and can be completely lowered under the work table via motorized height adjustment. The integrated APA quick-change system ensures fast and smooth blade changes.
The circular saw blade with a maximum diameter of up to 450 mm can be tilted between 0° and 46°.
Control panel
The circular saw with a movable table is operated via the control panel located on the machine body.
The model is equipped with ergonomic displays and operating elements, a full range of basic equipment and is, of course, equipped with all the necessary protection and safety devices.
Machine chassis
The dimensionally stable and self-supporting machine body is a stable welded construction made of thick-walled steel profiles and laser-machined and machined sheet metal parts. The torsionally rigid and finely planed cast iron fixed table is mounted on the machine body.
Side extraction
The extraction unit is mounted on the side for better access and significantly more efficient extraction performance.
Enlarged mobile table extension
For large workpieces, the cross extension can be easily extended thanks to an extension system – a unique feature of PANHANS machines. The workpieces no longer have to be supported manually, which is difficult.
Extendable cross ruler
The cross ruler is equipped with a millimeter scale and a telescopic extension up to 3500 mm. When used as an angle guide, it can be used between 0° and 46°, with mechanical length compensation on both sides. All common cutting angles (15°, 22.5°, 30°, 45°) can be quickly locked in place by a clamping system.
